Need a great gift idea? Want to help a bird?. Join Le Nichoir’s Rehabilitation Sponsorship Program.
The average cost to rehabilitate and release a bird is $45. This includes medical treatment, species appropriate food (live insects, duckling food, fruits and vegetables and fish) and providing enrichment items (perches, pools and mirrors). You have the option to choose from a woodpecker, a duckling or a waxwing.

Rehabilitation Sponsorship Includes:
- Certificate of sponsorship that can be given as a gift
- Invitation to a special tour at Le Nichoir with our staff – In the case of a gift, both purchaser and recipient are invited to attend
- Report on the rehabilitation of the bird (duckling, cedar waxwing or woodpecker) at Le Nichoir with release dates and picture
- Tax receipt available
