geese migrating

To wrap up Le Nichoir’s 25th anniversary year, we have organized two more virtual seminar evenings to discover more about the birds with whom we share our environment.

October 27, 7 p.m. – The ‘’unwanted’’ – Nuisances, flying rats, pests. While some birds are celebrated for their songs and colours, others are often subject to scorn and animosity. Discover how crows, black birds, pigeons and gulls are actually just as amazing as any other birds and as deserving of appreciation.   This seminar will be given in French with a bilingual question period. Registration required. Sign up here.

November 3, 7 p.m. – Migration. Bird migration is one of the most amazing feats in the animal kingdom. Learn about the different strategies birds use, how they find their way, and more. This seminar will be given in English with a bilingual question period. Registration required. Sign up here.
