Le Nichoir\u2019s volunteers have teamed together to participate in the Grand D\u00e9fi QuebecOiseaux. Show your support of our volunteers by making a pledge!<\/p>\n

The Grand D\u00e9fi <\/strong><\/p>\n

Is a friendly birding competition and fundraiser where 50% of the funds raised support Le Nichoir\u2019s programs, and the other 50% support wild bird conservation projects initiated by Regroupement QuebecOiseaux protecting threatened species such as the American Kestrel, Barn Swallow, Cliff Swallow and Purple Martin<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Rules<\/strong><\/p>\n

Each team must observe as many bird species as possible from a fixed location over a 24-hour period from 6 p.m. May 6 to 6 p.m. May 7 including over night<\/p>\n

Le Nichoir\u2019s Goal<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our goal is to raise $1,000 and observe 50 different species of birds.<\/p>\n

Reason for Participation<\/strong><\/p>\n

Not only is this a fundraiser for the Centre, it is our way to contribute to wild bird conservation on a larger scale<\/p>\n

Make a pledge!<\/em> The pledge can be made based on an amount per species observed by our team over the 24-hour period or, a fixed amount to support our participation. Donations in any amount are welcome.<\/p>\n
