Plut\u00f4t que de migrer vers le Sud, de plus en plus d\u2019oiseaux tels que les oies, les canards et les go\u00e9lands hivernent dans notre r\u00e9gion. Et plusieurs esp\u00e8ces plongeuses comme les huards et les gr\u00e8bes ont tendance \u00e0 ne migrer que tardivement.<\/p>\n<p>Un de nos r\u00e9cents patients, un gr\u00e8be jougris, envoy\u00e9 au Nichoir par un autre \u00e9tablissement qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois, avait \u00e9t\u00e9 trouv\u00e9 sur une surface asphalt\u00e9e humide, incapable de voler.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 son arriv\u00e9e au Nichoir, l\u2019oiseau fut examin\u00e9 et radiographi\u00e9 par nos biologistes Susan et Weiyi. Il \u00e9tait plein de fougue et en parfaite sant\u00e9. Il ne n\u00e9cessitait donc aucun soin, mais on lui donna du poisson en abondance avant de le rel\u00e2cher peu apr\u00e8s en eau libre.<\/p>\n<p>Une telle situation n\u2019a rien d\u2019in\u00e9dit s\u2019agissant d\u2019oiseaux comme les gr\u00e8bes, qui ne peuvent prendre leur envol que sur l\u2019eau.
