Et parfois il faut plus d\u2019une personne attentionn\u00e9e pour qu\u2019un oiseau nous arrive. Ce fut le cas de ce magnifique canard colvert trouv\u00e9 couvert de glace sur la rive du Saint-Laurent, au sud de Montr\u00e9al. Voyant qu\u2019il avait besoin d\u2019aide, son sauveteur r\u00e9ussit \u00e0 le capturer et l\u2019apporta \u00e0 la SPCA Roussillon toute proche. L\u2019\u00e9quipe de la SPCA Roussillon, qui a d\u00e9j\u00e0 aid\u00e9 Le Nichoir \u00e0 plusieurs reprises, accepta l\u2019oiseau et put le transf\u00e9rer au Nichoir le jour-m\u00eame.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 son arriv\u00e9e au centre, nos biologistes de la faune remarqu\u00e8rent que l\u2019oiseau \u00e9tait d\u00e9charn\u00e9 et qu\u2019il avait des engelures aux pattes. Il n\u2019avait heureusement rien d\u2019autre. Nourrir un patient d\u00e9charn\u00e9 est un processus graduel. Lui offrir trop rapidement de la nourriture solide peut avoir de graves cons\u00e9quences. Dans ce cas-ci, le colvert fut stimul\u00e9 au moyen d\u2019un apport de liquides, puis un r\u00e9gime de convalescence lui fut administr\u00e9 par sonde pour qu\u2019il retrouve des forces. Il fut ensuite install\u00e9 au calme dans un enclos chauff\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s quelques semaines pass\u00e9es sous le regard attentif de nos biologistes et de nos b\u00e9n\u00e9voles, notre colvert s\u2019est pleinement r\u00e9tabli. Il a doubl\u00e9 de poids et ses pattes ont compl\u00e8tement gu\u00e9ri, ce qui a ouvert la voie \u00e0 sa remise en libert\u00e9 parmi d\u2019autres colverts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Les oiseaux apport\u00e9s au Nichoir viennent de tout le Qu\u00e9bec.
