Summer is always our busiest season, and this year is no exception. We currently have more than 400 birds in our care, and our helpline received 1557 calls in June alone—not including the hundreds of emails we also receive! Our staff and volunteers are working incredibly hard to care for every bird while helping the many people who reach out to us for advice.
If you find a bird that you think may need help, please visit the FAQ section of our website first. It answers many common questions and can help you decide whether the bird needs to come to Le Nichoir. If you’re still unsure, email us a photo at info@lenichoir.org, along with your name and phone number, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. We also check all phone messages regularly.
