It’s a Hoot! Family fun at Le Nichoir’s annual Open House
Need to fly the coop? Then come on down for a day of adventure with your family as Le Nichoir opens its doors to the public.
The Centre’s Open House is geared at bird lovers of all ages and will feature an educational afternoon of guided tours, plus face painting, story-time activities for the little ones and a scavenger hunt for the entire family.
Several non-profit organizations will also be on hand to run workshops and interactive kiosks on nature and wildlife. Guests include Chris Clouthier, the naturalist at the Morgan Arboretum, and Urban Animal Advocates.
Doors open at 10:00 am. at Le Nichoir, located next to the beautiful grounds of the Nature Conservancy of Canada in scenic Hudson, Quebec (637 Main).
The cash BBQ runs from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm, while the event ends at 2:00 pm.
